I am late for months but still.. the people from the Globus magazine have manifested their appreciation for my work by selecting me as one of the top 10 significant non-politicians for 2009 in their special New Year’s edition, featuring a Vanity Fair-style triplet front page. Со разбивањето на стереотипите, па и заблудите на македонската наука токму околу таканаречениот македонизам, Анастас Вангели не само што го привлече вниманието на овдешната интелектуална и политичка јавност, туку се најави себеси како доминантен интелектуалец, чии размислувања не се обременети со ниту еден од македонските митови. Тој е еден од оние млади интелектуалци кои даваат надеж дека во оваа земја ќе може да се реализира и една здрава дебата.

Anti-myth

By dismantling stereotypes and the fallacies of Macedonian [social] science, Anastas Vangeli not only attracted the attention of domestic intellectuals and the political community, but announced himself as a dominant intellectual, whose thoughts are not burdened with any of the Macedonian national myths. He is one of those young scholars who gives hope to this country, and will be subject to a healthy debate.
